By the way, did I coin the term “the Don?” I distinctly remember being at Perry’s place before laguna one year and asking him whether it would be ok for me to call him “The Don.” I remember doing it on a whim and being pleasantly pleased that he didn’t make me an offer I can’t refuse.

I can just imagine The Don, standing outside in the middle of the night in his robe and bunny slippers, holding a brick above his head, with his flashlight, with a crazed look in his eye, as he snarls at the opossum under the stairs.

Yeah, all parents do this. You will too. Maybe not to that extreme, but everyone thinks their kid is the smartest little angle on the playground.
